Stop Sliding on the Downswing

Who is this drill for?

This drill is good for players that slide their hips on the downswing and struggle with blocks and inconsistent contact.

How do you setup the drill?

Position Pure Plane on the target side of the ball, in line with the feet, and angle the alignment stick toward the front hip (roughly 50 degree setting). The tip of the alignment stick should be roughly the height of the front hip and 4-5 inches outside the hip. Practice avoiding the alignment stick in the follow through. Alternatively, Pure Plane can be setup similar to how it's positioned in the "Instructions" video.
