Stop Sliding in the Backswing

Who is this drill for?

This drill is good for players that sway to the back foot and/or fail to transfer weight into the front leg at impact, leading to fat and thin shots, among other misses.

How do you setup the drill?

Position Pure Plane behind the ball, in line with the feet, and angle the alignment stick toward the back hip (roughly 50 degree setting). The tip of the alignment stick should be roughly the height of the back hip and 1-2 inches outside the hip. Focus on avoiding the alignment stick in the backswing. Alternatively, Pure Plane can be setup similar to how it's positioned in the "Instructions" video.
